You'll oversee essential functions including calendaring, filings, and document workflow, ensuring the team stays ahead of every deadline.

What You'll Do

  • Draft, prepare, and revise litigation documents including pleadings, correspondence, and supporting materials for active matters.
  • Organize case files, assemble exhibits, and maintain accurate document sets across multiple cases.
  • Handle state and federal e-filings, ensuring submissions comply with procedural requirements and deadlines.
  • Maintain a manual Outlook-based calendar, track key litigation dates, and coordinate day-to-day scheduling needs for the team.

What We're Looking For

    • 3+ years of litigation legal secretary experience in a law firm
    • Strong manual calendaring skills in Outlook with court-rule alignment
    • Experience with state and federal filings, electronic and physical
    • Working knowledge of California and federal procedural rules
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Windows)
    • Familiarity with legal DMS platforms (e.g., NetDocuments)
    • Ability to support multiple attorneys and manage competing deadlines
    • Paralegal certificate not required; openness to select paralegal tasks welcomed
